School to Work

Welcome! The School to Work Department at Fletcher’s Meadow incorporates an enthusiastic group of teachers who have obtained professional licenses in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism, Health Care, Cosmetology, Accounting, Computer Applications and/or Business Administration.

With this abundance of hands on and diverse experience, there is a world of business to be discovered by the students taking the variety of courses in preparation for University, College and/or the workplace. All pathways are covered, and each student is able to connect with the medley of opportunities.

We work together in order to build experience and receive certifications for employment. WHMIS, FIRST AID/CPR C, FOOD SAFE HANDLERS are only a selection of certifications to insert into their portfolio – readiness for the next step.

Extra-Curricular

A variety of clubs and “après” school organizations is offered in Leadership, DECA, SPA & BARBERING, MED TECH, & FIRST AID.

The students help with community events in order to earn the extra hours needed to build their 40-hour commitment.

Awards and Scholarships are offered to the students preparing to enter the next learning step – whatever the career path, or post secondary destination!
