Fletcher's Singers

This group practices and performs a variety of songs at special events and just for enjoyment.



FMSS Music Association

A group of FMSS music students who develop their leadership skills by organizing music socials and fundraisers.



The Fletcher's Meadow Concert Band

The Fletcher's Meadow Concert Band performs around our community and at school functions.



Darkroom Club

Students learn traditional photography techniques with a focus on darkroom process including developing film and prints.



FMSS Dance Company

The company generally meets 2-3 hours per week and has the opportunity to further explore their talent through performances and work with local professional dance artists.



Sears Drama Company


The Drama program at FMSS is an annual host for The Sears Ontario Drama Festival, which gives high school students the opportunity to work as actors, directors, playwrights, technicians and publicists.



Arts Council

Propelling and bringing forward Arts opportunities to the students of our school Community.  In addition to arts appreciation workshops, fundraising initiatives and arts advocacy the FMSS Arts Council acknowledges and awards a monthly "Rising Star" Award.



Mainstage Production

The Drama program in collaboration with each arts discipline of Dance, Music, Media, Visual Art and various school-wide departments including but not limited to Hospitality, Business, and Communications, showcase the creative talents of our students and staff on our MainStage each year.



Live @ the Studio

Provides a public yet intimate performance forum where dramatic works of students and guest artist(s) are showcased.  Students draw from course material for their performances.



Improv Team

All Art is about "creating something out of nothing".. but in Improv, you only have 5 seconds!!  The Improv Team gathers each week to hone our "spontaneous theatre skills" through games and interaction.  No experience is needed.

This new club will help students who want to learn more about the art of character animation for entertainment and technology careers.



Media/Tech Club

We plan, produce, and edit movies and animated video for various school and non-school projects.



Fletcher's In Focus Film Festival

A student film festival, featuring various works produced by students of Fletcher's Meadow.  The festival gives students an opportunity to screen their films to an audience and observe a reaction to their work.



Web Design Club

SPA Club

Students meet on Mondays to learn everything to do with hair from, hair cutting, hair colour, up-do's, and all up to date styles



Aesthetics Club

FMSS First Aid Team

Students meet every month for 30 minutes to review and plan events at which they will provide first aid.



Wood Working

Students design and build their own projects – electric guitars, skateboards, furniture and more.



Robotics

Students are invited to explore the design and construction of a robot to complete a challenge task.  The best ideas will be used for the Skills Canada competition.

STEP – Student's Toward Environmental Protection

We meet to explore environmental issues and support school projects such as recycling, and community project like the EcoBuzz Conference with PEYA (Peel Environmental Youth Alliance).



Senior Scholars

Student-run editing program which enlists the help of talented student writers to help students in our school edit their work.  The program offers on-line, in-class and on-on-one editing assistance to any student in any course.



Leading Arrows

This group of students work as leaders for the grade 8 transition school visits, the Fletcher's visit, orientation day in August and then a grade 9 homeroom program throughout the year.



Peer Mediators

Students trained in conflict resolution skills act as peer mediators to help students in dispute, resolve their own conflicts.  The development of life skills through the process of peer mediation teaches students how to resolve conflict peacefully.



Peer Tutors

Peer tutors are a great team of students who volunteer their time during the multi periods, before and after school to help other students to improve their learning  in different courses.



F.A.A.ST. (Fletcher's Academic Achievement Students) Mentorship


One-on-one mentoring program to facilitate the transition from grade 8 to grade 9, promote positive student achievement and social interaction, and prepare students for a successful future.

The Girl's Club is a group for young ladies who want to make a change and difference in their school, community, and the world at large.

We celebrate all cultural events such as Eid, Diwali, Chinese New Year, Hanukkah and Christmas.  We share a variety of cultural foods and traditional presentations from all over the world.  We have a colourful evening "The Multi Cultural Assembly" in the month of March.

Christian Fellowship meets weekly for worship, for prayer, and to encourage each other to follow Jesus in our daily lives.

This club will provide an opportunity for young people to develop responsibility, initiative, cooperation and other characteristics which will encourage better citizenship.  In addition students will be given the opportunity to express their ability through varied media forms in preparation for Black History Month.

History Lovers Club


The History Lovers Club is designed for students who enjoy reading, researching, writing, and documenting historical information in a fun-filled environment.  The Club will focus on various historical figures, films, movies, websites.



MED TECH Club

Members plan events to help the greater community engage in health and awareness and by-laws funded by grants.  Also the members learn the new language of medical terminology and participate in trips to hospitals, health care corporate companies, and community/university events.  Meetings on Thursdays (twice monthly)



ROTARY Club

Member engaging in activities to help the homeless and those who need help.  They help plan events to create a positive environment.  Meetings every Friday for 30 minutes to one hour.
